I rode in a Hiace and didn't like it, the passenger's three-point seatbelt has no height adjustment and it presses the neck and in case of an accident it could hurt, the seats don't recline much and are super uncomfortable, the legs don't stay straight and cause discomfort on long trips besides being very ugly too.
I found it weak during starts, it could have cruise control since the transmission is automatic, the only thing I liked was the multimedia and the engine, which is quite quiet.

TOYOTA PROACE 8+1 run away from this vehicle as much as you can, I bought a fleet of 13 cars, at the moment absolutely all of them are down, engines, gearboxes, timing belts/chains, clutches, electrical parts..extremely poor, Toyota service overwhelmed by the situation, we waited even a year with about 2 of them, in the end they took those broken ones back, they don't have competent mechanics, they don't give delivery times for parts, for parts and warranty work they try as much as possible to con you into paying for everything yourself..really bad..DO NOT RECOMMEND‼️ I'm struggling to sell them like this for parts..all were manufactured 2023-2024‼️ they have Peugeot engines, engine nightmares‼️

The worst experience of my life was buying a Toyota Corolla Verso in 2007, under warranty the injectors went bad, ten years later the cylinder head went, I changed the engine and they told me I wouldn't have any more problems and after 8 years the cylinder head goes again.......what a disgrace honestly because I'm not the only one all 2007 Toyota Corolla Versos came with defective cylinder heads....my car has 186000km from two engines what a shame I thought Toyota was one of the best car brands but I was wrong.....
